#2 Find your pioneers.

Waggle improves your inner and cross-team communication, so if you can find more than one team that's great. Finding the words is hard, so here's what we would say.

To: your pioneers

Have you seen Waggle?

It’s a platform focussed on freeing signals from the noise and using them to power collaboration between our teams. They say it can help us to solve problems faster, chase new opportunities together and make the most of the collective talent we have.

It is free to get started and within a short amount of time we’ll notice the difference. Who wants to give it a try?

A simple blueprint to revolutionise your communication.

We have worked with early adopters to find out how they introduced it to their teams and workflows. Here is their advice to you.

Step one

Daily syncs to signals.

Get the ball rolling by posting your daily updates in Waggle. During the day, if you come across a moment that has the potential to impact someone, post it as a signal in Waggle straight away. You can use the various types (milestone, blocker, decision, etc.) to make them stand out. The next day, you should have a little less to update on.

Step two

Signalling for pros.

Move on from the daily update and post everything as signals. Breaking the daily update into separate signals makes each key point stand out and become easily discoverable. You may want to set a morning, lunchtime and afternoon reminder to check in, but hopefully you’re getting into the swing of it.

Step three

Syncs away.

Now you’re signalling, do you still need the sync meetings that are occupying your calendar? Let’s find out. Rather than meeting to see if there’s anything to talk about, use Waggle to drive those connections. If you see a signal that needs collaboration, start up a chat or set up a meeting to discuss it.

Step four

Looking back.

You’re now sitting on a few weeks of signals that tell a story - a story that is ready to share. Use the feeds, filters and amplification to inform your reporting to the company. It’s going to be a breeze!

"We've been using Waggle for a while now. We’ve dropped the old, ineffective stand up and now rely on signals to drive our collaboration. A really great concept that could shape collaboration for good."

Be more bee.

Did you know? Honey bees orchestrate huge, autonomous hives through the waggle dance. When they discover something new - a food source, threat or potential home - they signal to the rest of the hive. It’s a clear, concise, but contextual signal that directs their fellow bees. After visiting themselves, they then repeat the signal to more of the hive.
